A better fit for pilots who want more than just a quick endorsement

Whether you are due for your 24-calendar-month review, returning after time away from flying, or simply want a more useful refresher, this service is designed to help you get current and fly with more confidence.

This is a good fit if...

  • You are due for a Flight Review under 14 CFR 61.56
  • You have not flown in a while and want a confidence-building refresher
  • You want a calm, no-pressure instructor who teaches instead of rushing
  • You want a review tailored to your experience level and aircraft

What makes this different

Andrew approaches the Flight Review as a real training event, not a checkbox. The goal is to help you leave more current, more confident, and better prepared for the kind of flying you actually do.

  • Personalized ground discussion
  • Practical flight instruction based on your goals
  • Honest coaching without unnecessary pressure
  • Strong focus on proficiency, safety, and decision-making

What your Flight Review includes

The FAA requires a minimum of one hour of ground instruction and one hour of flight instruction for a Flight Review. In practice, most reviews are tailored to the pilot and may take longer depending on currency and the areas that need attention.

Ground portion

  • Review of current FAA regulations and operating requirements
  • Discussion of airspace, weather, ADM, and common risk areas
  • Focus on the flying you actually do, not generic filler
  • Opportunity to ask questions and refresh weak areas

Flight portion

  • Normal and abnormal operations relevant to your aircraft and proficiency
  • Maneuvers and procedures appropriate to your experience level
  • Instruction geared toward confidence, not just completion
  • Logbook endorsement upon satisfactory completion

Common Flight Review questions

These are the questions most pilots ask before booking a Flight Review.

How long does a Flight Review take?+
The FAA minimum is one hour of ground instruction and one hour of flight instruction. In practice, many Flight Reviews take about 2.5 to 3.5 hours total depending on your currency, aircraft, and areas of focus.
Can we use my aircraft?+
Yes. Using your own aircraft is often ideal because the training is directly relevant to the airplane you actually fly. If you need a rental, reach out before booking.
What if I am rusty?+
That is common. A Flight Review is a training event, not a pass/fail practical test. If more work is needed, Andrew can log dual instruction and continue building you back up without unnecessary pressure.
What should I bring?+
Bring your pilot certificate, photo ID, current medical, logbook, and aircraft documents if you are using your own airplane. If you use an EFB or iPad in flight, bring that too.
